The Adopt-A-Camp project was birthed in view of the growing number of Internally Displaced Persons in Nigeria. This increase has been largely due to the recent spate of insurgency in Nigeria which leaves many dead or injured, and several displaced.
Adopt-A-Camp seeks to complement ongoing efforts in assisting IDPs through an holistic support framework. This will be achieved by seeking and gathering assistance from well-meaning individuals and credible organizations, who wish to contribute their quota, no matter how small, to ensure IDPs have better living standard while anticipating an end to insurgency so they (IDPs) can either return to their homes or reintegrate well into their host communities.
